In a traditional class, the teacher talks. In a "flipped classroom", the class is about helping you talk.

  • 1. Watch and Learn the Video Before Class

    Watch and learn (using the quiz) the video on FluentU before class.

  • 2. Live Class: Practice Words From the Video

    In the live zoom class, you can practice the words from the video. Talk with classmates. Get feedback and encouragement from the teacher.

  • 3. Ask Questions and Discuss With Teacher And Classmates (Any Time)

    Join a community. Send messages to the teacher and your classmates.

    Our courses are designed to accommodate various proficiency levels, including beginners. Make sure to choose a video that matches your current level.

  • Will there be homework or assignments?

    Before each class, you would watch and learn the corresponding video (using the quiz). Then, during the live class with the instructor and other class members, you can ask questions and practice.

  • Can I interact with the other students?

    There is a community area where you can ask the instructor questions, and also interact with the other class members.
